Built in 1973/74 by Chivas, it was bought in 2001 by Pernod Ricard and immediately suspended. Production resumed only in 2008, always mainly dedicated to volume for use in blends. Curiosity: it was born with another name, Braes of Glenlivet. The reasons why it changed seem obvious. In 1997 it was redesigned to be usable by one person. Some old independent bottlings were released under the name “Deerstalker”, although used by many other malts or blends.
