TBRC – Caroni Batch #5 Single Cask Beija-Flor 23 YO

Caroni batch # 5 shows on the label what remains of the Trinidad distillery: an abandoned shed. This Single Cask by Caroni, selected exclusively by Beija-Flor for the Italian market has matured 20 years, bottled to the full degree of 63.1%, un-chillfiltered and unstained in artificial way. It is an edition limited to 131 pieces

Aroma: Medicinal smoke, oil, tar, then honey, blueberry jam, honey and cream al butter. Cocoa, coconut, a little ration and spices from wood.

Palate: Intense tannin, then molasses, vanilla, ripe tropical fruit and dried apricots. Licorice, chocolate and orange jam.

Final: Toasted oak, then here is eucalyptus and salted caramel.
