When Poseidon is angry with you, there is little to do: you can only hope in fate so that the sea does not overwhelm you. The fury of the elements unleashed by the god breaks with force on the beach of Bunnahabhain: this is why our salty lips remain after tasting this young and powerful distillate. Distilled in 2013, single cask # 10536 was a Bourbon Hogshead: bottling took place in Scotland, at the A.D. Rattray. Undiluted, not cold filtered. The island of Islay stands out strongly in the sea of the glass: Poseidon’s trident, made of peat, smoke and malt, unscrupulously strikes the drinker, who must cling to the helm so as not to be thrown away from the ship and be able to return peacefully in port. The youth of the whiskey brings intensity, the peaking of Staoisha is brute force, but it is still the expression of a god: and therefore elegance and softness are not lacking at all.
